The doctors and nurses are available by appointment only and bookings can be made by calling at the surgery or telephoning the receptionist during surgery hours. Patients may see any of the GP partners.
You will normally be offered the first available appointment with any GP. If your condition is not urgent or if you wish to see a particular doctor, or at a particular time, you may have to wait for an appointment, depending on how busy we are. Although the doctors endeavour to keep surgeries running to time, some consultations will inevitably take longer than others. We would therefore ask you please to be patient if you are kept a little beyond your appointment time.
If there are no appointments, and you feel that you need attention that same day you will be seen at the end of the surgery if the doctor-on-call feels this is necessary. Emergency medical conditions are seen immediately.
If you have not been seen at the surgery for three years (or one year for those over 75) you can request a check up appointment if you wish.
If you wish to speak to your doctor please contact reception who will arrange a convenient time. Please note that all calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
An interpreting service can be arranged via Glasgow Interpreting Services.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
Late for appointment
If you are between 5 to 9 minutes late for your appointment you may have to wait until the end of the surgery to be seen.
If you are more than 9 minutes late for your appointment you will not be seen and will be required to reappoint.
